Hoopers
Hoopers originated in America and is now becoming a popular sport in the UK. Having no jumps or tight turns it is a low impact sport suitable for dogs of all ages and handlers of all abilities. It requires the handler to guide their dog around a course consisting of hoops, tunnels, chutes, barrels and touch and go mats.

Courses at various levels are available. These begin with the Hoopers Foundation Skills Course before moving on to Sequencing and Course Running classes. All levels use positive Canine Hoopers UK reward based training methods.

There are also the Canine Hoopers UK Good Hooper Award levels for Foundations Skills, plus Bronze, Silver and Gold Awards which you can train for to monitor your progress.

We run regular licenced shows under Canine Hoopers UK rules at Chapel Down Equestrian, Godnow Road, Crowle, DN17 4EE which is indoors.

Classes and workshops are available to book on the 'Book Now' page, or you can book a One To One session - these are ideal for dogs who aren't comfortable being around other dogs and handlers. Please contact us for availability.
